A Weekend to Remember

Our family had such a fun weekend! Friday evening we went to a campfire sing along. The park services are excellent here and have so much to offer to families. We had lots of laughs singing the campfire songs and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings of trees, and sounds of birds and crickets. Of course, after the program ended, the kids loved using flashlights to find their way back to the van.



Saturday we drove to Mason, OH(just outside of Cincinnati) and helped Adison Terry celebrate her 2nd birthday! The Terrys are very special to us. We first met Aaron and Lezlie in Grenada during medical school. We were in the same ward in New Jersey with them while completing our clinical years. Finally, we are now living in the same area as the Terrys for residency.

The kids did a lot of fun things at the party. From feeding the ducks....


then onto bubbles....



And ending with a pinata!



After the party the Terrys treated us to swimming. Needless to say, my children didn't want the day to end.



After swimming we drove back home. Putting our children to bed that night was a piece of cake.
