Julia has settled nicely in our home with the daily routine of family life. I have wanted to record some of our family outings from a few months ago. Back in October our children had fall break. Matt decided that would be nice time to take a few days off too and spend it with his family. At first, we thought of doing a simple trip, go somewhere special- stay in a hotel vacation, but then that simple trip sounded really expensive. We decided then to do a staycation. It was a great decision and we all had a great time.
We took a trip up through Provo Canyon and the Alpine loop which landed us to a beautiful place called Spring Lake. The setting was so peaceful.

We stopped in Heber City for some dinner. The children chose Pizza Hut and they had quite the appetite after spending the afternoon in the mountains.
Lauren was enjoying the natural springs and the beautiful flowers and trees surrounding the springs.

Day 2 took us to Trafalga in Lehi. The pictures say it all The children especially enjoyed spending time with their Dad.
It was a great 2 days spent together.
